Mid-century modern design appeared in the middle of 20th century, between 1940—1970. This design was introduced by architects from Bauhaus (a pure art school), Germany. After world war II, the architects moved from Germany to US. In US, the mid-century modern design was developed. The first and the famous mid-century modern house was Eichler House in California which was created by Josef Eichler.
